Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction...

Parked my car on Thursday night after a "standard" (nothing stupid) drive. The next time I drove it 3 days later on Sunday afternoon, a vibration would occur at speeds above ~60kph. It feels like it's coming from the rear of the car, and I don't feel it through the steeringwheel. It's completely speed dependent.

Any ideas on what to look at?

    Vibrations

The vibration is speed related and not front wheels.
First check rear wheel balance. When wheels are being balanced also check for bent rims. If ok then drive shaft (centre bearing and universal joints).

    Re Vibrations

Experienced the exact same thing. I could feel a vibration coming up through my seat - spoke to K zed about it and he recommended me to 'Petron' automotive at slacks creek to take a look. Turns out my centre bearing tail shaft is perished, as is my cv and uni joints. Getting a one piece shaft installed as we speak.

    A word of WARNING

Hopefully nothing, but.... ensure car is vibration free b4 payment, do a test drive, 90 > 120 kmph.

It has come to my attention that although PETRON have sucessfully re-built 100's of tailshafts, the universals currently available may not be adequate.
