Hi Everyone- I've asked this question before, but the only mechanic that was anywhere near where I live was Unley Nissan. I spoke to them this morning, and the soonest I can get in is 9th May! My waterpump won't last that long! Does anyone know a good zed mechanic within 10K's of the CBD who KNOWS ZEDS? (preferably not down south) Thanks WT :wacko:
Maybe... Assuming they're still doing work, try ringing Toby & Mick on 0405367088 They've helped out a few people here in the past. Toby is the son of one of the members here, and I can vouch for their work installing by U/D Pulley and some other bits.. very thorough. Alternatively, though South of town ... Profix RPM Performance TurboTune all at Edwardstown.. will prob cost a little more and have the car for a little longer.
cant believe unley nissan would even let you i rang unley nissan last week, didnt want to ever see a Zed in his workshop, said too much hasstle and told me to find a skyline... TOOLS but still parts are cheaper than Main North Niss rpm - pffft depends how game you are... if your desprite. profix - dont bother most dont know the imports at all. I know its south u want but tilbrooks are only 10mins up north east road, and they do good work most of the time that I know of. I just dont trust alot of people playing with my imports.
thanks Thanks for the tip rad1 There is a guy at Unley Nissan who'll do em. His name is "Renato". I have an NA- and they basically perform the same service on the J-Spec as they would the Aus-Spec. He didn't sound all that keen to do it- but I've pretty much got that from everyone I've spoken too except Turbo Tune who woulda been happy to take my money (and probably more of it than most)! I might give tilbrook's a call. They're not too far away! Thanks WT
