I'm not sure if there are specific VIN numbers for that model, but here are some clues that would apply if the car has been kept original: Car should have an Australian Nissan compliance plate - I don't think the Stillen 25th Anniversary was released in Japan. Could be wrong though. Colour should be blue, red or pearl white only. Don't know the specific colour names or paint codes. Originally I thought they were blue or red only, but I have read there a very few pearl white. The rear bar should be a Stillen item that DOES fit a standard width Australian number plate. The rear wing should be a Stillen specific wing - not sure which one though. The front bar should be a Stillen item - not the GTZ-R though. There should be 25th Anniversary decals on the front quarter panels just after the wheels (I think). The car should have Yokohama 17" AVS wheels. Due to the above point, the tyre placquard on the drivers door should be for 17" wheels. The centre panel between the headlights should be the Stillen item with 3 vertical slots on each side. I'm trying to remember if it has a chrome Nissan hamburger badge or not. I don't know if there were any internal identifiers such as steering wheel badge, glovebox plaque. If you are keen to know more, I'm sure a PM or email to ZEDDUDE'ette (Tereza) would get a response, and she could confirm, correct or expand on these answers. I have an article at home on the 25th which was scanned for the forum, but the Magazine articles section is still under construction. Also, an email to EnuffZ (Andrew) might help with identifying specific build information from the VIN number.
Further to the above There's a couple for sale in CarSales.com ... perhaps you're looking at 1 of these . Red one in Victoria This looks genuine - the body bits, wheels etc are all correct. Blue one in Queensland This looks to be the goods too.
oh dear col..... i think you have caught the mod bug..... it starts simple like, clearing tail lights and changing the front bar etc etc..... then before you know it you'll be painting and polishing engine bits, and doing more mods! I can feel a pod filter coming on.. Cheers
Nah, front bar then CarPC, then maybe mags. After that it will be maintenance 'cos the car will be 20 years old by the time I get all that done!
