Just wondering what you guys think are the best cars to get on gt4. I started off with s4 rx7 which is a pos that i wasted all my money on. Then thought evo3 was good value for money, it made me fair bit of money but the handling just isnt good enough for me to drive consistant in a series race where i cant retry. Just won a nismo400r and rx7 bp should i waste money modifying the gtr (they seem to be one of the best cars in previous gt series)? i think i will get rid of the rx7 because its good money and the car is pretty poor. I took a m5 for a spin in arcade and it is awesome, as well as ruff rgt. So I'm thinking of saving all my money up for a ford GT at around 150,000 is this a good car? dont want to buy another pos.
, i just made $260,000 cr in less then 10mins im going to get a a gt40 do up the 400r and buy a 2k spec zed. No need to be careful with my money any more, its so easy to make. My evo3 finally came to good use lol:LOL: Gotta clean up the garage and 'dispose' all the junk.
Cant you get the polyphony? i remember in the old game the polyphony was the best car for speed and handling. Max:thumbsup:
I used this trick Start out with any vehicle you like. When you make enough money to make your vehicle faster using the beginner hall, move over the the special conditions Hall. Defeat the first race (Rally d' Umbria) and you will receive a Cadillac CIEN '02. Get more money and put more power into your Cadillac CIEN '02 (you won't have to if you don't want to). The CIEN will gain almost 1000+ HP. Go to the second race with the CEIN in the Special Conditions Hall called Rally d' Capri. After you win that race you will get a Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car '02 which you can sell for more than $230,000+. Keep racing that race and keep making the money. Works like a charm and the Cien '02 is pretty sweet. but i must admit i like my Z's
i bought the HPA tuned car > did that up to max wins the races i enter with it pretty easy, just bought a sti c-spec i think it is did it up won the suburu championship 10,000 per race total of 5 then 75,000 for winning and you get a wrx touring car that you can sell for 95,000 took me about 20-30 mins i think. after winning that i thought i would buy a porche and do it up see how it goes cant even turbo or sipercharge it thou so i might have to look out for another car to max out and see if i can get under 10sec 1/4 mile with good handling..
ok changed my mind on best car now !! the touring car from suburu championship put the biggest turbo on it and nos did a 9.179 1/4 mile time. have a 350z touring car with 900hp now too
heres a good way to make big $$$ for mods..... do the capri rally twice, that should net you bout $500,000 with the sale of the cars. Then go and purchase an opel Astra DTM car & put a stage 3 NA tune on it and also do a quick suspension tune (esential in my opinion), then go race the DTM championship in the european races. you get about $140,000 for the championship but the CLK GTR (LM car) nets a cool $700,000. do that a few times and u will be rolling in the dosh. atmo got more money than i care to spend........ anyway here is a nice pic for all..........
:thumbsdown: Not that I am aware off. I've flicked through most cars on the web and looked in the different Show Rooms but didn't see any. They made it way too easy, I thought, but fun to race against other people split screen.
you all know damn well the zed (no matter what the characteristics are) is still the best to buy. and if you complete the 24hr endurance (cant remember which one) you win the polyphony F1 i was bored!!!
heres another question does winning a-spec points do anything. or just add up. cos if i can win a race with a super fast car im gonna
as far as i've heard on on gt palnet and other gt4 forums, it's just a gauge of race difficulty and is only useful for bragging rights..... what a shame really.
