is there any way of having the zed make less noise inside the car. Driving with no bumps the car is so quiet, but the moment you go over a bump i hear rubber squeaks every where, difficult to determine where it is because it sounds like its comming from every where. I think its mainly from the boot lid though. Any way to reduce this or just live with it, some sort of grease to put on rubber.
its a curse...... and I think all zeds suffer from it. The zed is cursed with having a very noisy boot. My squeaks and rattles come and go, but they are all localised behind me somewhere in the boot. I have tighted everything, cabled tied all I can find and even packed in more foam but it still rattles. And yes I have adjusted the boot locking mechanism. I have gotten used to it now so it doesnt phase me, but its quite apparant when you get into a new car that is dead quiet.. Cheers
Boot rattle was killing me, adjustement didn't stop it, but l put tape around the striker (part attached to hatch) and it stopped the bloody rattle, l'm sane again.
My 93 convertible is dead quiet with the roof on or off....... only 60 thou KLMS and is virgin tight I LUV it :zlove:
