    Cheers Planit Z :)

    Thanks for that. :)

I'll keep this place in mind for when my car arrives. I like the idea that they have experience with Zeds because there is nothing worse than giving your car to someone who has never worked on that type of car before and therefore don't know what they are fully doing...in other words, I hate being the prototype...lol :)

    ~ $1000 is a good price also.

Changing tyres might be a problem though because I don't want to buy new tyres for the original 16" rims when I plan to buy aftermarket 18" rims. Not sure if it will get over the pits though with the 18's. I'll probably just see if someone from Perth on here will lend me some original rims just to get it over the pits...hmmm...wait and see I guess...

    I hope the age thing isn't a factor when compliancing...I'm 24 so I guess that's better than being 17 right...? ;)

    RE CHEERS

You should not have any problems getting over the pits with 18's. I did and they did not care at all.
A&B will change the tyre placard to reflect the 18's and this is all the inspectors checked. Tyres have to have either "DOT" or "E" marks and many Japanese tyres don't have them and therefore need to be changed. The inspectors definitely check for these and if their not found you don't pass the pits.
Thats what happened to me. I got new tyres and all was okay. I had 235/35 18's front and 265/40/18's on the rear when it went over the pits.

I suggest that you get your 18's and new rubber and get it over the pits. This saves a lot of stuffing around trying to borrow tryes or getting compliant 16's and then changing them over.

    Cheers;)
