Just doing some changes to my interior now and am stuck as to how to remove the gear knob in order to replace the boot. I have the plate underneath off but that is it. Suggestions - Advice please Jeff
Mine just unscrews. Maybe hold the metal stick with a grip type tool & then just twist the knob strongly!?
mine was an absolute pain to get off. it does twistt off in an anti-clockwise direction. i ruined my gearknob trying to remove it. good luck though:zlove:
Hey thanx guys - success at last!!:thumbsup: Just thought bugger it and grabbed some pinchers (wrapped in a cloth) and went for it. So with this done my new interior is complete so will post pics up hopefully soon. Thanx again Jeff
