    g'day,
putting a couple of amps etc. in the Z to run subs and splits. to save money i'm doing the install myself, the only problem i'm going to have is putting the wiring through.
in my last car, i paid an installer to do it cos it wasa bmw and they're bloody impossible with all the metal and firewalls.

just wondering, has anyone done this? any tips, advice, tutorials or anything? need to run 12v from battery to boot, then the rest is from the HU to the boot.

any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
    cheers.

    I have about

2000 watts RMS at my disposal running from the battery in the engine bay.

Just remove the passenger front tire and the all fender linings under there and you will get access to be able to run a 0 gauge wire from the engine bay battery to the amps in the back.

You can feed the wire though the a hole on the fender wall in the back corner of the battery tray, and it pokes out under the fender, where you then poke it through the wiring grommet on the back of the fender wall which comes out to where the ECU is, I cut my own hole in the grommet and then used some sealant afterwards, because 0 gauge is huge!
