    very nice airbrushing

Good to see some airbrush work on a Zed. The only other one I've seen with any form of airbrushing is yummie. I'm thinking of airbrushing the underside of my bonnet (once I finish smoothing it out) but I'm still not sure what I want airbrushed. I was thinking of a mirror image of the engine so the bonnet pretended to be a mirror.

RedZedMikey RZM should now be DZM

    In two minds .....

I like and can appreciate airbrushing, but if it were me I would have something smaller and more subtle, especially on a daily driver like mine. Showcars are a different thing though. Maybe one day there will be a touch of airbrushing on mine.

I would have preferred the flames to be a "true" flame shape - just my opinion.

Going w-a-a-a-y back to the late 70's panel van craze, a mate of mine in Perth bought a new HX 308 van and had a nude woman airbrushed on both sides as part of a theme. Within 4 weeks the police had approached him and instructed him to paint a bikini on, remove the image altogether, or face action under some indecency act! Guess it might be different today.

I am starting to kick myself that I didn't get the copy Border guards when I had to repaint the front of my car - they look good!

Hope to see your car "in the flesh" 1 day :thumbsup:

    looks awsome man... congrats... but...

althought it looks AWSOME (don't get me wrong)
i don't mean to nit pick and my oppinion is my oppinion... BUT...

if you're going to do airbrushing and spending the ammount of DOSH $$$ that you are obviously spending on ur car... i've found that looking at other people and asking what others have done in the past has made me stop and think about what i'm doing some of the times.

The airbrushing, kit, wheels, paint everything looks awsome... but the "fire" or whatever its supposed to be giving it two colours and going past the front guards has totally wrecked it for me... i was getting ready to drool when i saw AIRBRUSHING ON A ZED but when i saw the block looking sort of fire effect (i cant explain it properly) i was really disappointed.

but hey... if you like it. then thats all that matters and dont listen to anyone else's oppinion. ITS YOUR CAR and you can do what you like to it. some will love it and some wont.

keep the pics coming when the car's all finished...
    :thumbsup::thumbsup:
    cheers, Sam

True everyone will have mixed thoughts. But

the effects on the bonnet and doors are not ment to be fire they are just a pattern to help the two colours combine. Must say it does look much nicer when up close, you can see the effets and colours better with the pin stripping then.

But everyone will like and dislike it for sure:)

They are not ment to be flames. It is a just a pattern to

help blend the two colours with the pin stripping. Airbrushing a bonnet can start from $500-800 or more just depend what design, detail paint and who's doing the job.

Just a NOTE!!!! They are NOT FLAMES on the doors or bonnet. It' just

a pattern theme to brake up the colours. If I wanted a flame effect I would have done proper flames.
