Yesterday was the Hunter Valley cruise and while the weather conspired against us (putting us way behind schedule), a couple of hiccups along the way (apologies to the Newcastle zeds at Freemans Waterhole) and a change in the route because a member was running out of petrol (I won't mention who Caz), we made it to the desired locations in one piece.

It was our first attempt at organising a cruise and whilst the success or failure of the cruise will be judged by others, Janet & myself were very pleased to see so many zeds turn up for the cruise on such a "lousy" day. Especially the "first timers", who we hope to see again on future zed days.

I trust everyone made it home okay after Morpeth, we got caught in a downpour heavy enough to shear the wax off your car. Oh well, better to be after the cruise rather than during.

Hopefully there will be a stack of zed photos (taken in front of the historic beehive kilns at Potters Brewery) posted on the forum by some of the many "happy snappers" wielding cameras before we went in for lunch. (It's a pity the sun didn't make an appearance).

    Cheers
    Ian & Janet

On a +ve note thanks zx299 for organising this

we (Marie, myself, Breanna and Emily) had a great time and it was an absolute pleasure meeting the members of this forum that did attend.

Looking forward to more cruises in the future!

Also for Janet, thanks again for the pressies, the Kids have been happily stamping away and applying makeup :):):):)

It's all about enjoying our cars, and making solid friendships.

It was good to meet some new faces, and hopefully we will see them all again, soon. It's also great to see families turning-up, these cruises should be "fun times" for the whole family (including your Zed.):zlove:

Hey people, where's all the zed photos from Potters Brewery.......

tippo is the only one who posted any (thanks Graeme, glad you enjoyed your 1st cruise). How about some pix from all the others who were happily snapping the zeds lined up in front of the kilns. Come on, everyone likes to see photos of a zed smorgasbord. Dreamzed, how about some of your panorama vision photos, it's the least you can do after walking away with the major prize in the observation cruise.

Anyone with photos that can't have them hosted, email them to me and I'll see that they get posted.

As they say " a picture is worth a thousand words".
