    Autowatch Alarm

Hi mate i only a few weeks ago installed one, i got the one with the inbuilt turbo timer and GSM pager adaptor (which i will eventually install) the alarm is top quality an meets Aus STD. I havent played around with the sensitivity to much but i wana make mine more sensitive to knocks on windows, the turbo timer is great disarms wen alarm is activated, wont turn on if the car hasnt ran 4 3min and you can turn it off from your remote if you wish, although with the z it will not allow you to take the key out wen running, thus defeats the purpose of a timer, altough im told you can get around it (any suggestions) I still havent got around to it yet. Basically is seems good and value for money,

I have had an Autowatch alarm for about 18 months.

It works very well, except it's a real pain in the ass trying to get the cabin sensor adjusted properly. Too fine, and every time a loud exhaust goes by it sets it off. Too insensitive, and you can throw a brick through the window without it noticing.
BTW, mine doesn't have any problem with removing the key, whilst the turbo-timer is on.

I just installed an Autowatch alarm a couple of weeks ago...

...and so far it has been great. I had it installed for $430 including window lifters(the guy used the existing actuators from the prevous alarm at no cost :thumbsup:) and microwave detector. Its also very loud when it goes off and it has been set up so that I can integrate an aftermarket turbo timer when I get around to it. Its insurance approved with all black wiring too which is always good.

I got the top of the range autowatch with built in turbo timer, microwave sensors, 3point immobilizer etc... installed for $470 with lifetime warranty.

They came to me highly recommended, and i've had no troubles with it. The turbo timer is really easy to use, and I don't have to problem of leavin the key in.

It complies with aus standards (black wiring etc..) and is recognised by insurance companies.

    Cheers
