Hi wondering what bodykits you guys thinks looks the best????and is anyone out their trying to sell or know of anyone wanting to let go of their bodykit? My car is a red 2 seater
Hmmm Veilside if you want to be noticed by even the most car-tarded person. Bomex if you want subtle class. Personally I think they both look pretty good. However there seems to be a lot of veilside on everything these days. Paul
veilside dude veilside all the way these are avail from carmate or simon @ ttzed who can hook you up with them they are cheap but not nasty requires a little time to prep them for painting as the moulds they come from arent that great.... other than that they are pretty good for fitment and so on the combo i have is veilside rear and sides, soon to be veilside front atm greddy front bar, bomex rear wing bomex grille. soon to come border guards and bonnet... the better of the kits would be to go urethane ZISLUV did his z with a wings west kit these are great and if you hit kerbs and whatnot then these are the go..
ive got bomex side skirts and love them.... i prefer something that fits in with the lines of the zed.... which is bomex all the way... veilside is a little over the top IMHO ::Risk::
If I had to do it over again I'd get the bomex side skirts and rear bar, as opposed to the veilside but love my UAS front bar and will never change that :zlove:
I agree! Too many people feel that if they see a plain panel then they have to pop rivet something onto it. The 300ZX has been designed with beautiful flowing lines and an almost feminine shape, don't kill it. If your going to add any kit, make sure it stays within the lines of the car so it doesn't end up looking like a "Homer" (For all you Simpson fans). What ever you decide go for something a little classy not a bogan mobile!
LOL. If Homer designed the Z it would have come out looking like a Skyline! By the way, what rear spolier is that on your car?
Rear spoiler Its a Tommy Kaira. Actually its the only one I've see around except on the Tommy Kaira web site.
Sorry to disappoint you, but .. Sorry to disappoint you, but my Zed has a Tommy Kaira spoiler too - been running around Bris for last 4 1/2 years - had many people offer to buy it off me coz they look so neat. Guru
Stillen, Wingwest or 2000 model ....>> are the best options are they are made from urethane and not fibreglass.
Initially i liked the veilside but, as now i own one i have started to dislike it in certain ways. Partly due to being fibreglass, oopsy, and the rear wing doesn't allow for much vision out rear window but you get used to that. So really you get what YOU want but have a close look at both.
Don't sell! They are definitely a relatively unique item. For something that I believe looks so good, its a wonder there arnt more copies around. Haven't seen you on the south side, I'll have to keep my eye out for you. What colour is your car?
I have a veilside rear spoiler and it really blocks the rear view badly (I use the side mirrors more anyway). Really gets the looks + comments such as "cool spoiler" Going custom myself (want something similar to the explosion kit to get that Bugatti look ). Cheers Rob
Silver TT - northside Inner suburb (Albion) on northside, but I haven't spent much time in Brisbane over the last 18 mths. Guru
You could always go the opposite way... ...and go slickback. Personally I think the Z can't look any better than when it's a slickback, stock front bar, and slightly lowered. I've actually really come to dislike spoilers on Z's since I took mine off. Anyway, my vote is A) loose the spoiler altogether B) don't go veilside...!
