Just wondering! Theres a TT zed living down the road from me and his car goes PSht t t tt t t t off throttle.....It sounds alot better in my opinion and a lot less attention seeking! My GFB Hybrids turn cops heads from too far away! How do you achieve such a sound??
You can do the same sound with the hybrids When crusing and gently and accelerating with a few psi of boost, then letting go slowly (I think. I'll have another go when I leave work )Doesn't work all the time for me though. Maybe there is more to it. But you can definatly get it!
I think you can also get the flutter sounds if you losen the return spring on the top of the BOV. Some allow this, others don't... It make the spring open and not close as quickly if done up tightly. Or, open up the BOV and put a less sprung spring in it...All above are dodgy, so good luck, they can cause problems with venting/opening at idle also. Personally I have recirc. valves instead of vent to atmosphere...these do flutter, when I close full throttle and do it louder since I got put the pod filter on.Cheers Grant:-Z

I just had the HKS SSQV installed Its much louder than I imagined, and having a turbo "Always on" you get to hear it quite often It dosen't sound like air escaping at all like other BOVs, it sounds more like a silenced gun
your recirc valves arent working if you hear the flutter sound. it means your getting compressor surge, which i personally dont think is that bad. but if you want, check your intake pipes on your recirc valves coz they might be blocked, hence the flutter sound.LaterZ Chris :-Z

Nah its not u andrew.... Sum other one I saw...Its silver and has 18" AMG rims!. Same as DUB on the forums.I just wanna know how to get that sound!!!! :-Z

Is there any benefit of fitting one bov> just before the throttle body and the other on the turbo piping?
Is there any reason why a BOV can't be put in the stock location? It's just that it seems a lot of people move the location to the intake pipe... If that is done, what do you do with the open end where the stockers were??Cheers Grant:-Z
That looks wrong:>< The two BOV's are in different locations%( And one is back to front (compared to the direction of flow))
Expensive HKS SSQV OR...>>>> MOZA SSQV, as a cheaper alternative. Haven't seen/heard what they can do, but I was in Repco this morning and saw them...$270 each. They look exactally the same as the HKS items just less expensive? Who dares to spend the money?Cheers Grant:-Z
