kit to their machine and if so how does she go?
Now all you bush lawyers out there I know perfectly well its not street legal so dont read the riot act to me. I simply want to kick some serious butt without expensive engine mods!!:D We are having a track day on Saturday and a little N2O would go a long way>D< You can port and polish, rebore and recam and then wack on bigger turbos and then add another computer!:s By the way dont forget the extra big intercoolers:cool: and then line up against me in my humble standard base model TT except for this one small mod (probably around $1000)AND THEN I WOULD KICK YOUR BIG WHITE ASS!!!>D< IMHO that is.Do you dudes agree?Luig

Try a search for posts by him or ones on N2O. Oh and while you may be quicker then me when you are on the bottle, how many laps do you think you will get out of it? Drag racing may be fun, but for the ultimate race sensation take it to a sprint day.

    Disagree :)

You would still need bigger injectors, intake and computer anyway if your thinking about doing the same sort of set up as this
Click HereMay as well just get the bigger turbos, computer, intake, cams etc :)unless there is another way your thinking?

I suppose it dpends on the track

as to how fast you get up to. I am a bit conservative when it comes to modding engines and as a kid I spent a lot of money doing so with suprisingly little result except unreliability.:><
Most of the time' like yourself no doubt, I drive conservatively with the odd dash of spice when some half witted revhead :+) decides to run the risk!
Sometimes I oblige if its safe:YD but what I would like is a big red guarded switch on the dash like something out of the "Far Side" that you lift the guard and flick that switch and that dude is no more!:D regards Luig:cool:

There are cheaper ways of using that

Nitro without the new injectors. Plumb fuel straight into the intake plenums so when the N2O hits you have the additional fuel and even plumbing fuel onto the turbines of your turbos will take out the lag when you plant the foot.})
You would have to experiment of course in order not to set fire to your car:eek: but she should rip tear and bust when you come out of the corner on to the straight and whip past Wykked even if its only for a sec;) A new computer I dont know ....maybe you will get away with the old for a while:s but this a fun machine and its for racing who cares if its a little inefficient (sometimes):s Luig:cool:

spend it on good tyres luig

much bigger gains to be made that way in lap times.

    NO2 goes well with turbo's

From what I've read, NO2 goes very well with turbos.
A quick squirt spools up the turbos real quick. Apparently you set it up with a pressure switch that turns it off before you hit peak boost. The NO2 adds heaps to the mid range but nothing to the top end. If you use a wet system which also adds fuel, you don't need bigger injectors.
Autospeed.com ran a couple of articles on it recently.
I've thought about doing it, but I reckon you'd also need traction control!

    Thought about

doing it down the track, as it is a significant gain for an NA and would be a hell load of fun!!!Datzboy: "I've thought about doing it, but I reckon you'd also need traction control!"Where would the fun be in that!! }D :-Z Cheers

RedZedMikey RZM should now be DZM

Hi Rodd, I'm gonna get picky on ya >>>

Do you teach chemistry???? Hope not, nitrous oxide is N2O not NO2 - though injecting NO2 might get even more of that lovely combustible oxygen in there!!!

Luig, it will not be healthy for the track

i have a adjustable kit here going on the new car , it is specificaly designed for drag racing , ie no more than 15 seconds then it needs to be reset to fire. <P>Also using it constantly would be detremental as the bottle pressure and temperature of nitrous is a very delicate thing ,you can do magnatudes of damage to a stock engine. Are you going to install the dry setup with

the wolf3d on your new TT? That should pump some real nice figures.

    Disagree...

unless you plan on running a 200 shot of nitrous then I still dont think your going to beat my car :p

    but

I heard you're not allowed to drive on your own (learner license). So you got passenger penalty :p

2nd tyres are the single best improvement

for lap times in circuit racing. and if you're serious, make sure you get tyres with R spec rubber.
