Hi all,Thought I'd let you know that I passed the EPA test, all they checked was what the notice said, basically I put my stock air box back on, removed the boost controller and the BOV, they tested my car for emissions, and I got 0.004 or 0.04 but either way, but car is Environmently Friendly All I gotta do now is get the defect notice off, which will be a peace of cake.I'm surpised they didn't ask the Turbo setup, I'm sure they could of, for peace of mind I would like to obtain a Engineering Certificate, but I don't know where to start?Anyone in Melbourne can help?Peace Tay
Glad to hear it. :YD :YD :YD >>>-- I was actually thinking of ringing you to find out what happened. Talk to Simon (TTZ) he might know of an engineer type person to do an assesment.
Good to hear dude... hey did you get my email?? still keen on go karting?? If so, check the events section.Cheers
Hey Tay.......>> I was sorry to read that you had been given the once over by the Police, but I'm very glad to hear that are working through the problem and that the end is in sight. They don't call them "Engineers Certificates" any more, but instead referr to them as a VASS Approval Certificate, which is issued under the "Vehicle Assessment Signatory Scheme". All you need to know about it can be found on this VicRoads web site, and a list of signatories can be found " target="_blank]on this one. Good luck, and don't hesitate to ask if you have questions. I'm looking forward to catching up on a run sometime in the future and I fully expect to see you in the pocket rocket of yours.
Thanks!.... Mmm, most of those places are far from my place, anyway I give them all a call and see what's the process and prices. Thanks for that Pete, appreciate it. Yeah sure, we'll catch up in the upcoming meets Peace Tay
That's looking good, Tay It'll be good to see your car (and you) back on the road (even though it's "only" a Suzuki (LOL))
