    damn cops are dumbshits

first they say they busted a 'drag meet', and claim cars were defected cos they were lowerd for 'cornering'.Who the hell 'drag races' around corners?!You know how the cops pulled me over and gave me a hard time, i had to convince him it was a CA18 engine (1.8l) cos he was sure it was a RB20 engine, they also checked tred on my front tyres, not back, must of thought it was FWD not RWD?

In my local area the cops and "hoons"

are getting together to try an have organised street drags. They are talking about blocking off a street for such an event and later building facilities. This is a great idea, as the currently illegal street racing that occurs out in the forestry attracts some ppl doing stuipid things in a large crowd. I think all the more so should cops in larger districts like Sydney and the Goldcoast, be trying a simalar spin. If anyone is in the area the meeting is at 9am Sunday 7/9 Maryborough Royal Hotel.
Hey I have had my full share of run-ins with cops here (particularly one on a motorbike...he doesn't ride a bike anymore since his near death experience with a driver who had enough of his $hit) But thumbs up for the local police here for taking some positive action. :YD

lol .. a cop once tried to defect me

for tyres that were less than a week old
they still had those little rubber porcupine
bits all over them. ... I had to pull out the
receipt for them which was still in the glovebox
thankfully, before he let me go...8-} go figure.

    not all dumb....

in my local area, eastern suburbs of sydney, they actually are quite quick, and generally over look the slightly excessive speeds we all like to clock at times..... i got done in a 60 zone at 108, the coppa was well within his right to charge me for being 45k's over but opted to charge me 30k's over and wave his finger at me... must be sick of booking everyone in their rari's and porsches in the area, had a look at my tires and gave the car a quick once over...i think he was really just admiring it though. lol:-Z

  10. well hows this for "respect my authoritar"

i left my mobile phone at my G/F's place and fraeked out cause i thought id lost it, so i went back to her place to look for it (at 2 in the morning mind you), i rocked up her drive way with the car still running jumped out, went to the front door where she was waiting with the phone grabbed the phone, jumped back int the car and drove off,
apparently there was an unmarked cop sitting accross the street and was watching the whole thing and pulled me over on susspicion of trafficing drugs (hence the exchange at the door)
i had to wait 20 mins for a paddy wagon to turn up of which they took another 10 mins to go right through my car with sniffer dogs and another 5-10 mins of stupid (what are you doing put this late) questions before they would let me go... it sucked big time, i hate drugs of any kind never have done them never will! but i have been let go light by some cops on other occasions though ... so they arn't all bad 6:9

Hey I understand you being annoyed>

about the inconvenience, but ask yourself why there are undercover cops watching that area at 2am.
They must have had reports of drug activity in the immediate vicinity, or they wouldn't be parked there (they don't have that many spare cops). As a professed "anti drugs" person, you would have been cheering for that cop if he nailed a dealer, and you probably would have condemned him if he "went easy" on the guy.Sorry you had that experience mate, but it is something we have to live with, thanks to the bastards that think laws don't apply to them!Cheers
