When I lived in Central Africa, there was >> particular type of fly that used to lay it's eggs in your clothes on the line. You had to make sure that you ironed your clothes before wearing them, else the larvae would burrow into you skin and set up shop under the surface of your skin and commence it's life. As it matured (over few days) it would eventually work it's way out of your skin and fly away, leaving a nice little infected sore. My guess is this poor sucker ended up with a heap of these eggs in his undies ... 8(
