Gday guy, very new here and to the Z community. I have a 1989 300zx tt Japan imported I’ve been told is rare due to the low build number :48 even some of the parts on her look like prototype stuff like the hicis parts. I can’t find anything with a lower build number. What do I have need help plz.

As for the 48, there was more TT 2s in ag2 alone built in the first production month. Then you have all other variants and colours. Yours being the 3rd production month.

Whats different about your hicas and other parts?

CZ32-501658 would make it 1658/6561 CZ32 (2+0 TT) built for Japan, I wouldn't call that a low vin. A lot of grey imports got a completely new 17 digit vin when complied in Australia including this one and they didn't often correlate to the Japanese vin. The only option on it was leather seats. As long as you like the Z that's all that really matters.

You can find a full documentation of all Z32 build data on www.gtr-registry.com
