I am looking for someone, individual or business on the Sunshine Coast (near Maroochydore preferably) in SE Qld who really knows the engine operation and control technology of the TT 300 ZX. I have had a nagging problem for years which has finally got to me - engine sounds / feels like it is running on 4 pots much of the time, but have tested with Nissan Data Scan but get no no error codes. Even Niall checked it briefly a year or so ago but could not come up with any confident indication of the problem. Need help as I have only managed about 1000 k in last 5 years, and these cars need to RUN. Pls PM me if can help. thanks
Try this one, fixed a rough running Zed for me a few times, Check and maintain all plugs underbonnet. Unplug your injector plugs,check the terminals, clean them then replug them in . Then unplug your coil packs and clean them then replug them in . Do the same with TPS plug, PTU plug etc. My Zed ran on 4 cylinders for a couple of weeks until I did that and then it was sweet. Didnt show error codes , was just normal electronic hardware gremlins.
Have found one, not cheap though, but good value whilever their Z specialist mechanic stays there. Andrews High Tech Automotive in Maroochydore.
