I think he's referring to the very rare (due to how f'ing stupid it looks) factory optional 'nudge bar' that Nissan offered. In 1990 I worked at Metro Nissan in Brisbane & the only Z32's anyone ordered during the almost 2yrs I worked there was a young fellow who came in with his extremely hot new GF. He had this story of being in the process of inheriting a fortune from the UK & wanted to order a Z for himself & one for his girlfriend. Hers was to have the optional nudge bar. The dealer principal was SO keen to order 2 Z's in one go, this guy wasn't even pressured into paying a deposit!!! Three months later, the cars arrive, don't know what happened to him but she visits in tears just to find out if he'd been in touch to take delivery (obviously still believing his big story...). Pretty sure that when someone finally bought the red Z, that nudge bar ended up in the dealership's dumpster!
