Hi, in the process of converting my NA Auto 2+2 to Manual and ive got a TT Gearbox but im not sure what to get for the driveshaft, i know the 2+2 and 2+0 are different but are TT and NA 2+2 Driveshafts Different? Will i not be able to bolt a TT Driveshaft to an NA diff? or not be able to bolt a NA Driveshaft to a TT Gearbox? Thanks.

    the diff itself is different.

a NA uses 4 mounting bolts, while a TT uses 6 to mount the tailshaft to the diff.

the gearbox end of the tailshaft is the same for TT and NA, so you just have to worry aout using the correct part to mount to the diff your using.

If its a factory 2 piece shaft, you could use the back half of your existing shaft with the front of the new one, just be aware though that it wil need to be balanced or youll get nasty vibrations.

What's a good price for getting a Driveshaft Balanced in Sydney Area?

Last time i had a zed shaft clocked and balanced it cost $90. Albeit in adelaide. I wouldnt think it cost much more in sydney.
