There is a lot of if's and what fors in your question ie: do you want normal street suspension, or race track set up, or combo. How much money do you want too spend you can do a cheapy set up for a couple of grand or spend up mega for several thousand.

    Brand doesn't matter. There's 2 types:

Made in Japan - ranges from ok to F***ing awesome but omg is that the price?
Made anywhere else in Asia - ranges from ok quality to absolute garbage.

Same principle as choosing speed parts. In this case replace fast with comfortable.

My Z has Jap coilovers, quality construction and quite comfortable. Yet when you lean on them it doesn't roll. Not cheap.

3 other cars that I care less about, two of them have China coilovers and one of them has Malaysian made coilovers. They were beer budget cheap, ok in terms of "quality" since they haven't blown the seals yet, very uncomfortable though. Think rattle your teeth out bumpy.

Tension rods, suspension arms and things which serve a very basic purpose you'd hope anything off ebay which is all made in China would hold up ok. I'd love to replace all arms with Ikeya Formula stuff which is awesome Japanese quality but can't justify 5x-10x the cost. Since these are such simple items generally the ones off ebay from the lowest price vendor is acceptable but I'm sure anyone buying it isn't expecting top quality anyway.

Don't want cheap nasty, will purely straight line racing. So comfort is not needed, just need strength and adjustability. Will be doing over time. Also don't want a mortgage for it. Also where to buy from would be great.

    Cheers

    Ebay. Go nuts.

Since you don't really need to touch the front, just get the below which will eliminate old shagged bushes and stock arms. The following are cheap thanks to our cars sharing them with the S13:

    Rear traction rods
    Rear camber arms
Rear toe rods (if you have NA rear subframe), TT needs the HICAS lockout kit.

HKS Hiper Drag coilovers suit what you are wanting to do. Softer in the rear to help weight shift to the rear on launch. No longer available brand new so keep an eye out on the facebook groups and here as well.

Although a lot of the americans that run good times are all on stock suspension since it actually weight shifts. I'm going to say stick with brand new OEM in that case.

Braces are more to do with maintaining suspension geometry while turning corners. That deal that japtek are currently running is pretty good value.
