Hey I'm ordering the cluster ring tomorrow and wanted your opinion on which ones to order! My interior is the black/smoke leather with suede interior. I have the black/grey carbon fiber Hydrodip accessories (radio bezel, dome light, vents, door handle). Should I stick with the polished aluminum, chrome or black gauge rings? I'm ordering these along with a replica titanium key. And replacing the stock cluster lights with LEDs (I have all other interior and lights converted to LED already)... Any input on lights would help too.. Thanks Ikon
The gauges are what you look at, the rings around the outside of the gauges are cosmetic additions. Chrome isn't a good choice if the cluster is subjected to bright sunlight. The rings should fit in with the general colour scheme of other interior items.
My personal opinion is the rings are to break up the colours inside of the cluster and add some contrast. I went with chrome, I think they look stylish and are a nice touch.
