    Not quite right.

A TT canister has three lines.

One goes to the intake pipe under the passenger side headlight and is under constant vacuum.

One acts as a signal line and runs to the passenger side throttle body.

One runs to the balance tube via a check valve; it is open under vacuum and closed under boost.

You got a good point there.
Dependent on what deletes/mods have been done on the car it might very.

Stock CC system is over engineered as everything else on Z...
Intake pipe under the passenger side headlight that is under constant vacuum is just enough to do it's job, and stay road legal. Everything else is extra crap...

    Hi rob260,
Do you know if there is a diagram kicking around that shows these three vacuum hook-ups, on my Z one line goes to the throttle body, one to the balance tube and the third one goes to the manifold not the pipe under the passenger headlight!

The line to the manifold is probably for the passenger side recirculation valve. You can't see that line on the canister without removing the front bar.
