I am quite active on the UK forum and I have liaised with a guy that does the LED fuses, these light up when they blow, one quick look at the fuse box or boxes and you'll see if you've blown a fuse. UK seller but he's now updated his postage rates to send the full kits worldwide, great value for money, too cheap imho, link below. He'll be adding this and that in time, he has a very bright crisp white festoon bulb for the cabin main light, ask him to add it to your order !! http://woodypeck.com/?product=nissa...blade-fuses-smart-led-lights-up-when-it-blows
21.05 GBP (41.30 AUD) landed in Aust for 3x kits. 5.85 GBP (12.08 AUD) per kit 29 fuses @ $12.08 plus shipping is a good price. Ebay cheapest is $1ea plus shipping Any chance on arranging a group buy? Work in with one of our three main Australian distributors?
Such a brilliant idea I was looking at them about a week ago and was interested I'm keen if you get a group buy together
I'm only the messenger here, I bought some glow fuses from a few different ebay sellers, i do have some spares but it cost me approx ?14 for a full kit. I thought how great they were and ideal for us Z32 guys so i approached the guy i last bought off, as i noticed he did kits for porsches. The pictures on his website are of them fitted on my car, i do not benefit from any sales and have no involvement with the website, i just helped him to get the kit going. If you want a group buy then you'll need to approach him but these are cheap and chasing a group buy to chip a bit off imo is just not worth it .
I took the plunge for 3 kits - can confirm its $41 AUD landed IMO - he doesn't seem to sure of which fuses are required for specific 300zx models - (he mentioned this) I think I am going to be the first guinea pig off the rank but I am sure it will all work out in the end Will post back once they are fitted
Thanks Jamie. I also looked at a three kit deal to fit both zeds and a spare set. It makes the shipping a little softer that way too. I agree, the suppliers prices are very fair, wholesale even, compared to anywhere else, and to get a complete kit for the zed is even better.
I have been his guinea pig here in the UK, i told him it was 29 required then i spotted a pic that showed a further 2 more in the footwell, a 7.5 and a 20 amp but i think these are for a USDM car. The seller is just being cautious by mentioning it to you and we agreed to be on the safe side throw in the extra 2 and make it 31. Nice to have these fuses all over the car but they come into their own in the footwell and plenty in the kit to cover this back breaking area .
Do you have a list of fuses for the J-Spec by any chance?? I could just 1 for 1 them but need to affirm I have the right ones in to start with...... I ordered three sets but only have two brown 7.5 amp fuses in the pack - lol (how does that work :rofl so really want to just make sure I have the correct numbers all up to begin with. Cheers JC
Looking at the schematics for a J-Spec I should have per set: 5 x 20 Amp 3 X 15 Amp 9 X 10 Amp 3 X 7.5 Amp Does anyone agree / disagree with this? Given I only have 2 X 7.5 Amp fuses (for three sets) means something is wrong and this will need resolving - lol - I will contact him after someone confirms my list is correct (just to make sure I'm right) I don't think this will be a problem - but need to get this sorted for the benefit of others here. Still - I think they are great, timesaving and very helpful in diagnosing faults Cheers JC
The 300zx Electrics kits from the GB..... had 27 fuses in each kit. These kits were designed to fit ALL models, so every zed used a different number of fuses (if I remember correctly, the Auspec auto version used the most fuses)
Found my problem...... Purchased three sets but he only sent me one set! That's why I got two 7.5 amp fuses - lol I guess I will be emailing him for an explanation
I tried with these to get them perfect straight out of the gate and they were then offered for sale on his website, very soon after i informed the seller (Steve) that he needed to include an extra 7.5a and a 20a in this kit making it 31 fuses in total, to his credit he refused to increase the cost. Full compliment therefore for both the engine bay box and the footwell one for any spec of Z32. Please be aware/patient as Steve knows nothing about the Z32 and needs to rely on feedback from us owners. There is no denying it is tremendous value for money and even with the teething trouble it is a great kit and much needed.
They seem to be all there (I have three extra fuses and three vacant spots when I did a one for one -lol) umm....I think that's good I was trying to work out how the 2 X 7.5 amp went into a set of three ? When I went to install them I quickly realised why I was running out of fuses - the problem is he only set me one set when I paid for three. 2 X 7.5 fuses into 1 set makes sense Tried contacting him - but got no response from him so I have placed a dispute with paypal. Nice fuses - (hoping to get the other two sets as ordered - he seriously needs to sort his shit out though!) Can't wait to blow my first fuse! JC :zlove:
