Hey guys, I've come crawling back for help once more. Imnundergoing a transmission swap at the moment, auto box was ****ed and got another one cheap from someone who did a manual swap. My car is a 92 NA, auto JDM, I'm unsure what this trans came from to be honest, waiting for clarification. I believe it is from a 92 NA Aus Delv. She's in now, all lined up and all is well, except there's an extra electrical connector. I'll get a picture and put it up later. Has anyone had any experience with differing transmissions as far as the electrical wiring? Any ideas?
All automatic transmission wiring across all years is the same. NA JDM and Auspec transmissions are also the same.
Forgot to get a picture last night, I'm thinking maybe a cable could have been removed from my previous transmission then, I'll try to track down some easier to read wiring diagrams and compare what's there and what's not. Baffled though, last trans worked fine until it's last moments without that other cable. Thank you for the response though, appreciated! Assuming the same for TT/NA as far as I've seen they are all interchangeable anyway.
Yep - it all the same parts The coloured electrical diagrams might help here: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=332982
Round 2 Alrighty then I'm back. Quick lot of questions. - I am now under the impression that the new trans was from a TT Aus Delv. 1. If I'm using a TT auto transmission in my NA, do I need a new TCU? - Currently getting 16 blinks from my Trans Diagnostics, so no connection to the transmission itself. 2. If that's the case, would this explain my extra wire? Any input is appreciated
