Someone at the last QLD TECH DAY had some sort of epoxy resin on his plenum.
What would the product be and can you mix any colour into it.

    Or

    do people powdercoat their plenums

What's the best way to go about getting colour on my plenum ?
And the most durable also has to be a high gloss finish

Powder coat of the win. You can get metallic in that range too.

that was actually my car, the product I used was Northane 2 pack polyurethane. reason i used it is heat resistant very hard wearing and clear that does not discolour with age. I wanted a see thru effect so it was colour but you can see the alloy underneath, it was pretty close to how I wanted maybe a little too much tint in it but still looks good and is different.

    pmac Z,, IT'S COMPLICATED!!!!!

Don't mess around, just get it HPC coated. Then you'll get all the benefits of better flow, better cooling and the Moe durable finish you can get.

Grayson there is a guy over in Maroochydore in Kelly Court off Wises Road that paints plenums, rocker covers etc, and pretty good work and well priced. Or if you want too powdercoat, i'll put you onto the guys in Caboolture that did mine.
