I think they could look good. Apart from the beneficial safety aspect I like the idea of a bit of bling as long as it's not overdone. A few years back I changed my front parkers to an LED cluster but I'd like to upgrade that to a strip light somewhere. Let us know how you go and if you find anything suitable.

I voted yes because I believe you can do it tastefully, I am just yet to see it, I do like the 'Angel eyes' look tho... It may require the right front bar to pull it off...

My first Zed was black and a number of times I have had people pull out in front of me and I think they just didnt see me, from then on I drove with my fogs on until they melted the LED parkers in the same housing...

My mate fitted some LEDs into the spare socket in the indicators and they looked really good, am planning the same mod in my black turbo

I did fit a set to my NA (below) but removed them shortly after, they just looked weird, kinda like teeth...lol

This is what I'm worried about most of all but that's why I intend to find the right DRL's to fit the right application if their even available. Until then Ill keep my eye out and research whats available and wait and see how I feel.

I'd like to install them onto my Z but would likely replicate the OEM setup found on Canadian spec models, high beam turns on at half the wattage as soon as you release the e brake. This looks the most OEM (and it is) in my opinion.

Otherwise, JDM fog lights or European spec turn signals have the second clearance light bulb in their housings that could be wired as a DTRL but it might not be bright enough to be extremely effective.

Don't add another light unit to the front of the car. It will look out of place.

It used to be required "protocol" for Funeral Processions.....That's where it should remain......
A total WANK in any other context IMHO!!!!(Forgot to mention the reduction in the effectiveness of "Turn Signals" during daytime usage, [when immersed in a sea of unnecessary illumination].
    Get a Hobby!!!!!

IF DRIVING IN DAYLIGHT WORRIES YOU SO MUCH....STAY OFF THE ROADWAYS!!!!!!:W::W:

Well it seems I have created a bit of a bad thread here. My intentions was to make a styling update to modernize my Z and not to create better illumination during daytime driving. I know its kinda a wank factor mod to do to most people on here but I saw it as a harmless possibly beneficial mod to fix the 90's look Z32 a 21 century look, which I am always looking to improve.

Anyways I am going to shelve this idea for the time being while i focus on a 100K service I intend to do myself in the next couple of weeks as well as repair and fix all of the little things I didn't get to do before I finished my project in 2012.

I also don't appreciate the over the top negativity some of the post in this thread has created and I will be talking to the admins after this post to have the thread either locked or maybe deleted.
