Also i am in no rush to find one, i have a drivable car for the meanwhile, but i am looking at my options. Without sounding like a hipster i dont want something that all p-platers get, i want something unique, but that option is not sounding likely, z32 is like my last option, if not i will start over without the rwd rule.

    Hi jimmy,
as others have alluded to Zeds do have a habit of costing a bit to keep running. Yes there are some great Zeds out there but also some real clangers. As much as I like to see people driving Zeds as a first car I would say they are a poor choice. Running costs will bleed you dry for fuel let alone any unexpected maintenance costs that come up. A cheap 4 cylinder with the air bags would be a great first car until you get a bit of coin behind you ( I know Zeds are cooler ) as first cars tend to get a bit damaged as part of the learning curve of being young and invincible.
Good luck no matter what you choose.
    Cheers
    Dave

Certainly is great that you've got a passion driving you towards a 300ZX, but as others have said it's not the best choice for someone looking at a cheap P-plater car. If you're good at saving, give yourself a long-term goal and savings account for a couple of years when you buy the car you want on your opens (ie. get a twin turbo.) ;) Ask for cash instead of presents, dump it in the savings account and add small amounts into the account over time. Not the most exciting way to get into a 300ZX - because obviously this is achieved over a few years not in a few days - but it's the way to make the experience of owning a Z achievable and enjoyable, hopefully for many years. :zlove:
