Just wondering if anyone could point me towards the engine part numbers for the pre 1990 VG30DE(T)??? I'm not looking for exact parts in particular at this stage. Mainly for future reference. Regards.
Prior to Z32s the VG30DE and VG30DET were used in the Y31 Cimas. VG30DE also used in the JDM Z31 300ZR which is super rare. All of these cars had that plenum design you see in the photo. Go to Nissan and tell them you need parts for a '88 Y31 Cima and see what they say. Overnight parts from Japan y0

What I am looking for are the engine part numbers, and if possible explosion diagrams, for the DOHC engine series VG30DE(T) before that of the one released with the Z32 (VG30DE(TT)). For example the spark plug "Ornament" covers on the VG30DE(T) I have has casting numbers 19059RH & 19059LH. However the "Ornament" covers on my VG30DE(TT) both read 19059-81, then 1113-RH & 1213-LH respectively. I cannot see a number on the VG30DE(TT) "Plenum". However the VG30DE(T) "Plenum" has a casting number of 723204. :vomit::vomit::vomit:
Hi mate. I used to own one of those vg30det engines as seen in the above pics. Mine came out of a cima. Never got to put it into service before I sold it on. But for tech details I spoke to Oz in the parts department at lakeside. He showed me the cad drawings and priced up bits for me to do with the manifold, etc, etc. He's a pretty helpful bloke so might be worth your time to drop in for a chat. What plans you thinking about for the horizon?
Thanks, will do. Still need a third Brake Lens / Infil by the way. Converting to F40 rear wing. At this stage engine bay is completely stripped after deciding to pull the engine along with gearbox to replace clutch. Mainly to service engine properly and lay down some rust prevention and new paint. Particularly around areas of battery and clutch/brake fluid damage. Probably sending a few parts off for nickel plating including engine oil pan. Too much to list. Major engine coolant and oil system beefing up. Hopefully M/T oil cooler. More parts coming off the car than going on I'm afraid at the moment. :bash::bash::bash: Regards.
Hi there, just about to put one of these in a z31 , only place to find parts info is from Nissan Fast system and you need the jap version of the cds for the vg30det. y31 is the model on the cd. I have this program working and the complete cd collection if you need specifics, as for the program I downloaded it from a site, just google it is not hard to find, the one i found was a very large download(torrent) as it included all the cds for the world markets and was a real pain in the butt to get working in english but it can be done. If I can help with any specific part no or diagram give me a shout, cheers
