cruise control not working after 10yrs of working fine, turns on with green light on but wont set speed other green light does'nt come on, is there a fuse or is it somthink else anyone know.
Very common. You'll probably find some bits of rubber on your drivers floor. The rubber stopper on the brake pedal disintegrates over the years. Falls out no more cruise. Nissan generally have them in stock. I'd suggest replacing both, as the other will eventually fall out, leaving your brake lights on full time with a flat battery.
Mine as well. When i got my TT the same thing happened. I did some testing from the ASCD ECU and the circuit was open. As the rubber bumper was non existant the clutch pedal could not close the switch so it is as if the pedal is pressed when its not hence No cruise engagement. The brake pedal has two bumpers. One for the Cruise and the other for the brake lights so check them all as already advised or the cruise will again stop because of the Brake bumper. Both brake and Clutch pedals can stop the cruise from engaging. I got to mine from the Instrument cluster and needed to remove Driver side ventilation ducts to get to it. A trick to insert the replacement bumper is put some Vasalene around the pedal hole and then the tight fitting bumper will go in a little easier. MichaelZ
