No I still haven't sold my 300z and probably never will but my lease on my old black 370z 2010 model was up so I decided to upgrade to the 2013 model and broke the 'black' tradition and went for Midnight blue. Haven't seen another one this colour in Canberra yet.

It looks fantastic, clutch is a bit softer in the new one for some odd reason and is taking a bit of getting use to. Will probably post more photos when I get it back from the guys at 'Obsession Car detailing' after getting colour correction and then the full Opticoat treatment. these guys know their stuff and come highly recommended. This stuff is the way to go for new cars or freshly painted.

I now have to get rid of the old one :-( plus I can't go fast in the new one till its run in :-(

Noticed your signature block, put the one on the right in your garage. Love that front bar :)

    Lol no, do you?

Nice colour. Much better than the black. What interior spec did you go with?

The interiors are all the same back leather, so no choice. But they look great. Apart from a small change on the Steering wheel the interior is the same as 2010 model.

Is that a new thing for 2013? The older ones could come in other colours I thought.

The only changes you can make when you specify one is to add mats and reverse sensors. Even then, the reversing sensors are after-market. Otherwise, every Aus delivered 370Z's interior is the same (except obvious MT vs AT differences)

So ones with deep red leather seats have been ordered in from an overseas Nissan dealer and installed after being purchased here?

    EDIT: like this

Or is it because it's a convertible? Pretty stupid if they only allow different colours for the vert and not the coupe.

Oops, yes you are right. The red leather seats are optionally available if you order the Bordeaux roadster.

Fairly sure the brown was a 40th anniversary thing.

Never new you could wreck an interior by installing red leather seats. Learn something everyday!
