Hi All Just wondering if anyone has bought any of those custom leather seat covers for sale on ebay (there is quite a few selling them of course) and whether they felt they were a good fit/ value for money etc. Thinking of buying some, but wanted to know what experiences others have had here with them first. The GB I did a few years ago used a guy from Pakistan (I think). His name is Khalid Mahmoud. He has an EBay store. I would suggest you contact him through the email address in the old GB thread. I think his details are also in FSBB.
I bought genuine leather covers from the same mob through their Interior innovations website and did the work fitting them myself. They where very helpful in replying to an questions i had about the options that where available before i made the order. Have to say im very happy with the quality and service i recieved from them. Heres a pic 8 months ago just after fitting and another taken today. you can see the leather is a bit wrinkled after fitting and was going to have another ago at tightening them up but after a few hot days they lost most wrinkles by themselves.
We bought the leather replacement seat covers from khalid and we're extremely happy with them. I too fitted them myself and it came up great. We did have a minor issue with the leather loosing colour to which he sent me a replacement cover which unfortunately got damaged somewhere along the lines prior to my recieving it, so he sent me another... So that's two free replacements in essence. He is a good bloke to talk to and will help with whatever you need. We also got our covers tweaked a bit over the standards he does, so very ablidging. Money well spent in all honesty.
