Nissan 300zx Z32 gearbox Great condition, came off a stock standard Japanese import with 90,000 kms Testing when it was in the car and it works perfectly, no noises, crunches etc. This was from a non-turbo car but the gearboxes are identical for both turbo and non-turbo, in fact the non-turbo ones are better as they have had an easier life and are less likely to have been trashed, furthermore, they have not had to deal with as much power through the drivetrain like one off a turbo. Comes with the shifter, linkages, and clutch slave cylinder I was going to use this in my track car with a conversion plate but ended up sticking with the standard gearbox as I no longer hit the track very often. Pick up in Canberra, no postage. Otherwise it can also be picked up in western sydney as I go there every 3 or so weeks. $850
they are the same, except for the bellhousing. when using a NA box on a TT car, it is necessary to grind the internal of the bellhousing where the flywheel contacts it. not much , just a little. commonly done.
Alternatively, you can use a NA gearbox on a TT if you: Use a NA clutch Use a NA flywheel Use a NA starter motor. Anyone doing a NA->TT conversion doesn't necessarily need to do anything with their gearbox. Just be aware that the NA clutch may not last very long though, but that all depends upon your driving style :br:
Thanks Jamie. I wasn't 100% certain - I thought the starter motor sat differently on the bellhousing between the two.
