code 42

getting code 42, put a brand new fuel temp sensor in and made sure the wire going to the sensor is perfect. any ideas?:br:

 

i have seen on a photo of another zed there is a single wire connected to one of the screws holding the injector closest the the fuel temp sensor. does anyone else have this wire?? if so where does it come from as i cant seem to see any loose wires floating around that area of my zed. thanks

 

fixed, there was a missing earth wire from the middle of the fuel rail. no more code 42 thank god

 

Sorry bout the shitty picture, but for future searchy goodness its the blue connector on the top right-ish. I'll post up a better pic (during the daytime, with the throttle cover off) when i can. Glad to hear it solved your problem
