You realise the reason that the price of fuel has risen is because this lot from Singapore is a really really special mix :D
    Really.

C'mon man, don't put that crap in your baby :(

    Today, ULP cost 145.9
    98 cost 157.9

With a 72 litre tank, ULP would cost $105.05 to fill up from empty, 98 would cost $113.69.

If you can't afford $8.64, you shouldn't be in a zed

It regularly hits 170 around here man...

98 may cost more, but you get better fuel economy and power from it.
Is your car aus spec or jap spec?

The price goes up just before the supermarkets announce another petrol docket discount ;)

    ^^ This

Also they did a report and even with a normal car 95 shits all over everything even with the more expensive price at the pump it is cheaper because of the fuel economy to price ratio, then 98 THEN 91 then 91 with ethanol lol, so the people that actually are paying for the cheapest two are really screwing themselves (also it is shit for your car so costs you even more again)

You'd have to buy alot of fuel to justify the cost if the hardware plus tune...

Considering the z32 is tuned for 95 from the factory...

All other things being equal (which with a cheaper fuel they probably aren't) a car tuned for 91 won't make more power on 95. However a car tuned for 95 is at risk of detonating on 91 (your z is factory tuned for 95).

The detonation may not be audible to your ear or if its seriously not detonating you may have room for a more aggressive tune and hence power on 98.

Google is your friend, I saw it on tv years back, soon after Ethanol became a standard (or when it was proposed) for unleaded in NSW for 91 octane. Also my old man did tests with his own cars since he has owned servo's for 20+ years was a no brainer to do and consistent because he was only ever using 1 fuel source which was his own.

I was always 98 til I was forced to use 95 one week was all they had and I was on empty found no difference in power or mileage. Would not do it in the heat of summer though to be on the safe side due to boost max 13lb chip upgrade.

Fairly sure I saw a similar story on Aca or today tonight or some other bogus program like that so wanted something a bit more 'legitimate' than that or google.

There Ryan, it was Today Tonight on channel 7.
Well, well, well, I use 95RON and fuel economy is terrible. I will have to change to 98RON.
