Custom intercooler and radiator system for TT

Changes the entire system of piping in the TT and replaces it with a bigger piping and a more direct route.

For sale is the 2 inch PWR radiator with thermos installed and custom overflow bottle in alloy. A pair of PWR intercoolers with 2.5 inch inlets and 2.5 inch piping. All piping in alloy to stock turbos and back including silicon couplers. Could be modded to 28RS's easily if required. As you can see the radiator is shorter and the return pipes go up and over the radiator to the throttle bodies. All the stock hard pipes and the twisted path are GONE for this system. There is no clutch fan needed as the electric ones cover most of the radiator face.

Only compromise is you lose your aircon condenser.

Fresh unstarted forged engine with ACL forged pistons, 1mm oversize valves intake and exhaust. Stock manual cams. I will give you an upper plenum and a set of coil packs, timing belt, heater pipes etc. This build with the valve mods would cost you over 10K to get done now. Just needs a bit of a clean up as its been sitting in the car for a few years. Bores are clean etc, series 2 CAS ( even thought its series one in the pics)

Caged 2 seater slick top chassis. Massive cage with fire wall penetrations tying on the front shock towers with the cage. Same with the rear towers. This was build by a workshop on the gold coast and complies with latest CAMS standards AFAIK. Cost $4,000 to install. ( no shockers but you can bring some dodgy old stuff and we can bolt it on so it rolls, no front guards) will throw in a set of 4 space saver wheels etc ( steering wheel isn't included but you can buy it for $200, genuine MOMO leather)

How much for just the radiator? I assume stock intake piping wouldn't fit.

 

Hmmm, It really is a whole system and should be kept together. These side mounts are probably way better than a big front mount.

I may separate if it doesn't sell over the next week or so. Just buy the lot and sell off the intercoolers.

Correct about stock pipes not fitting. They go beside the radiator in a TT that's why its radiator is narrower

I priced this pretty keenly CAUSE I WANT IT GONE. I think the prices are more than fair.

Once these bits are gone Its easier for me to sell on the rest of the stuff I have.

Sorry mate, wheels will be too small for the rear and too deep dish for the front. I need 10's minimum on the rear and the dish on these won't clear my front brake upgrade, not even close.

But yeah very interested in the rest, except the engine, that's outside my budget atm. Will call you tomorrow to discuss

 

I haven't looked, at a minimum they will be stock shot peened and linished which are good for 400+ RWKW. But could be better. I didn't build it. All I can see without ripping the sump off is the forged pistons and valves with my bore scope.

I'm sure no one was waiting for me to make a decision on this gear, but if you were , I've decided to pass for now. This gear is all a bit more sophisticated than I need for 'stage 1', and I just don't have the budget or available time for it atm.

Of course if I was in Melb or Tekky was in Sydney it would probably be a different story

 

Anyone has information how legal this chassis would be on WA streets?

 

haha... fully illegal.. shes a racecar through and through

cannot drive around WA roads with any more than a rear half cage
