Easy question I spose, with a simple answer. I am curious to know if ba rims will fit on a Nissan. I'm pretty sure the stud pattern is the same, but it is worth double checking. Thanks.
I have heard that OEM ford rims fit and fill the 300zx wheel arches even better than 300zx stock rims because they have a better offset. You will need an adapter sleeve for the centre hub. (Like a small piece of pipe for each wheel for centering) Post pics
simple answer yes. get new wheel nuts or reuse your old ones. nissan and ford use different thread sizes on their nuts. there is a thread on here somewhere where someone bought a set of rims off a ford and put it on his car and used the ford nuts as well, he found out by car shuttering hard and he had to tighten up his nuts after 3 days... long story short he needed new studs they are the same stud pattern. what you may need though is hub rings so the rims sit center with no play.
as others have mentioned, they will yes. so he likes a different style to you, so what? he hasnt even said what rims hes talking about other than its from a BA, he could be talking about aftermarket, not ford oem.....
Do a test fit first. I tried using a set and while the stud patten matched my brake calipers were to big for the rim to fit on properly
Test fit to make sure spokes clear calipers though. I've used a ford spare to get me home from a blow out
Now there is an idea If you have a blow out, a friendly ford taxi's spare tyre might get you to the local tyre shop. Are these BA ford wheels?
Yeah sure $300 deposit, $50 hire for the spare and I am starting the meter as soon as my boot opens to remove spare and meter will go off when the boot closes with spare put back in.
There was a pic somewhere of a zed with ford territory rims - it actually looked pretty good - these:
I was actually thinking about taking the aftermarket rims off the z I am selling and putting them on a ba pursuit ute. I have a really nice set of chromies on the z, but it turns out that they don't clear the brembo brakes on the ute anyway. Thanks for the advice guys. I wasn't going to bother taking a wheel of to test it on the ute unless I knew for sure the bolt holes were the same.
Dunno about BA/BF but i tried FG G6E turbo wheels and they hit my front brake calipers. but with a spacer they would fit. Thought id throw that out there..
