    Hi guys,

Now that my first choice of mechanic is permanently no longer in business, due to unfortunate events unfolding, which workshop in Brisbane would be the best to take a zed for major work?

    Thank you
    Erik

Hi Barry, I had a look at that thread but I had some work done by them on my first zed and I wasn't happy with the end result. Given it was panel work but i don't want to give them my vert to work on. Looking for someone else.

I think I'll have some trouble finding someone who I feel comfortable giving my zed to work on more than Eric but might just need to bite the bullet and pick someone....if it comes to it, a Nissan dealer

If the Gold Coast isn't too far for you, Gavin woods Autotech might be worth trying. I'm considering taking mine there. Anyone used Autotech? Sounds like he knows his stuff.

    Hi mate,

Yeah, I have heard good things about him, the only issue I would have is carting all the gear down to him. ATM though, he is the best option.

It sounds good buddy, but there is too much work for it to be done in a day or two. About two weeks work I would say. If I ditch the idea I have and decide on just an auto to manual conversion, then it would be perfect.

Ahhh Trent you just love going over too Mike and Cara's because the dogs will kiss you  .

But yeah Mate if you don't mind dropping the stuff down the coast i'd give Gavin a go, maybe one day hopefully things improve really well for Eric and Kylie and he'll be back in business.

I'm hoping so too but family always comes before work. Here's hoping all gets better for them, for their sake, not because I need a mechanic :p

Yes and he (operator Gavin Wood) is an absolute professional. Top quality work, good staff, good communication, honest and reliable.

Helped me out when I got caught out in QLD once and I can't speak highly enough of Gavin and his team.

Seriously? no seriously I'm asking. I've been told nothing but bad things about his shop. I have been there but I don't have an opinion either way.

Ask Gavin his opinion on Fate...

I can only go off my own experience but as I said the guy was a first rate professional. If I lived in Brissie or the GC I would have absolutely no hesitation having further work done there.
