Has been rocking around for a while but check out the AWESOME power output - even if that were measured on an Aussie dyno that's a weak effort :rofl::rofl:

Pretty sure the general opinion of the forum was that is was a bad idea - well maybe here's some evidence of that.

(I'm not stupid by the way and appreciate there must be more to it than what meets the eye as this SHOULD make a lot more power)

 

Hmmm... Ive heard all sorts of platitudes about these engines. Some rather recently.
Blow-hard seems to fit.

Well it's not ficken blowing hard enough if it can only do 200Kws :rofl:

I'm curious as to why it's quoted as 200kw @ 6PSI - can it not run more, did it have problems at more boost, was it set like that because the owner is chicken of more power?

Standard internals might be the weak link so it has been set at 6PSI to save rods from exiting the block - but then why bother with all that drama fitting it for a pissy 200kws :rofl:

Hmmmm - I had some genius try and tell me the engine in my ZR6 Aurion was from a commodore just last week... North - South / East - West aside I know what I would rather put in the zed - if it come to that!

 

I think that you may be right about stock internals idea, I wonder if the turbos being an afterthought because the NA install was to gutless is not too far from the truth as well.
