1994 300zx Convertible (Not targa)

Hi All,

I need to sell my car and get a something more practical (4 seats etc)
It runs well, is in good condition and looks nice. Tyres are very good. Has an small oil leak somewhere, but the oil never needs topping up between 5000klms service. Otherwise fine.

It comes with a full set of genuine Nissan roof/door rubbers worth $1200, not fitted yet. Also have a brand new S2 PTU. All the front suspention rubbers were replaced for the roadworthy I did a year ago.

I have replaced the window sill rubbers and windscreen surround trim with genuine Nissan items which are very expensive.

Has a CD player. Aftermarket Exhaust.

No RWC. I don't have time. It was roadworthy 1 year ago and has done 2000klms in that time. I drive it nicely.

ODO is 95,000klm. Automatic. Yellow in color. $5000. First person to look will buy i'm sure.

This is why our zeds are so cheap.....why can compete against this? The next poor guy will have to drop his priced down! Grrrr

This car looks unmolested too. (and 1994 too, that's new )

A good (rare) pickup for a Zed lover. (Genuine convertible)
When our cars go classic, this would be a good one.

 

I agree. There must be something seriously wrong with this car if its only worth 5k

 

looks great. as a fellow owner of a yellow z32 vert, i can certainly see the appeal.

rare to see one with cloth seats as well....

its worth more than what your asking, (i wouldnt sell mine for double what your asking!!) so it truly is a bargain.

Thanks for the positive comments everyone. It's 5k because I actually want to sell it without faffing around. It's in carsales for 6k.

At the moment it's parked in a street, which I hate and my new apartment doesn't have a carpark. So I need a normal car that I'm not paranoid about leaving outside.

 

That's crazy!!! Your driving the prices down! Even at 10k you wouldn't faff about, someone looking for a vert will buy if for that..

Just read this. I drive this car to and from the city to Mulgrave everyday to work. If I made it dearer, it would take months to sell. yes, it probably is a 9k car when you look at it.

It one of those situations where you cant win, if its what others think is the right price, no one will buy it for months. If it too cheap, something's wrong.

 

Do people still buy cars out of that "unique cars mag" ?

What about that car event in Melbourne? You should be able to sell her at the right price in Melbourne compared to Sydney (someone has a conv listed for $8500) or Perth where there is one listed for $25,000 ??? I think l read that in the thread about "convertibles are so expensive"
