Selling my project 300zx. Has a blown head gasket (creamy looking oil). Has recently had 6 brand new injectors fitted, new spark plugs and coil packs only to find head gasket is gone. Bit of rust in the hatch around the corners in the glass. Has an exedy clutch fitted and power steering pump rebuilt several years ago. Also has 18" 350z rims and tyres with good tread. Interior is a bit rough, has been retrimmed in white leather but looks like it was done a long time ago. Has series 2 PTU.

Price is firm for a quick sale, no offers.

BodenM No ZX just yet :(

I'm interested. It hasn't got any problems aside from the blown head gasket does it? If it doesn't, I'll talk to my dad tomorrow about it.

P.S: Are the injectors fitted to it the new style or old style?

What do you mean other problems? Injectors are old style, direct drop in replacement.

I meant, does it have any other problems/issues in general, or is the head gasket the only thing wrong with the car.

I'm not too sure, last time I drove it was a couple years ago when I was doing some work on it for the previous owner. It drove well back then, gearbox felt pretty good. As with any 20yo. zed though there's just lots of little things that need to be fixed up. If you could find a cheap interior and 2nd hand engine you'd already be more than halfway there. Little things like there's a ripple in the front passenger guard where a dent has been pushed out, needs wheel well splash guard, spare tyre missing, timing case cracked. etc. I have a whole heap of spares from my old parts car that I can include for extra.

Plenty of good points too. Stock spoiler is in good nic, no bubbles or peeling. I gave the guard a polish today and the paint came up really well, so the rest of the car shouldn't come up too bad either. Has cables for a sub and audio system in it (no stereo though). Ac has been deleted. Catback exhaust. Ebay crystal front indicators. Would make a good base if you're able to put in a bit of time and money to bring it back to its former glory.
