New member to the form but I've always looked around every once and awhile since I have a RHD Z and you guys seem to know where to get all that stuff. I'm from the Bahamas and my 2+2 is getting ready for paint. Just trying to get all the body parts sorted out. I had thought to go with the 99 style wing and sides but the copies I ordered from IonicDynamics in the US were total crap. So I decided to go with my all time favorite the Karminari's. Thing is other than the originals Powertrix in the US was the only company I knew of that made copies and they have put that on hold. I was hoping you guys would be able to help me source some copies that are cheaper than the originals and hopefully fit better aw well. I searched post with member 'Ztoy' and saw that he made altered copies that appeared to fit near perfect. Then I saw another post where he sold the molds. I would have emailed him but your profiles dont show all of that information. So any info would be great. Thank you all. By the way I have the 99 front fascia and am still deciding weather to go wingless or with the mission style lip spoiler that powertrix sells. Decided I dont like the 99 sides much so karminaris for sure.
i have some kaminari copy fillers but they are pretty ordinary.Never been fitted but some work is required to fit and fix as there were bubbles in the gelcoat. Could not be stuffed so i did not fit them to mine. i think they are too fat and car looks great without them.To sand them down and patch the couple of spots would not be that hard. can do cheap if you want them.
That I know but mainly I was looking for replicas that fit better than the originals. Everyone who had bought the originals know they they need a bit of work to fit clean. The ones made by powertrix had slightly better fitment and the ones made by ztoy were altered as well. I was hoping to find an altered version being produced in the UK since powertrix no longer makes them in the US.
