    misszen Red ones go faster!

Anyone know where I can get any more pics of the JUN Blitz Bonneville Car ?

Dont suppose anyone knows the guys, since a few here have run into steve miller, I thought we could go for broke on arguably the two most famous Z's of all time

Love the way they did the back underside on the JUN Blitz - hence I need some more pics for the design - ours are a bit shy.

    Cheers

If you look at the dash, intake manifold, what look like injectors on the IT pipe and bar work and fuel tank in the rear it looks so much the same.

I think it is ! :zlove:

Pretty hard to be sure with out better pictures but I hope it is.

Yeh - it does look like the goods deep down

The fuel tank certainly looks identical to the detail.

Road Registered - lol - Imagine driving the JUN Blitz down town to get a bottle of milk and some nappies, would be a hell of a ride, would'nt it.

Wonder what it sold for and /or what price it would carry?
Don't suppose they picked it up at the wreckers - lol

Surely it would've fetched 500+ (It does hold a record after all)

Great find, thanks for posting with an earlier thread.

A full accurate translation would be fantastic.

I get the gist of the story is that they built the Supra after the 300ZX to go for 300MPH (480km/h) but the JUN 300ZX record still stands (419.84 km/h) far as I know, does that mean Supra fail ? [TIS]

Cool that when you look at JUN's wiki page its dominated by their 300ZX record, JUN being a true heavy weight in the JDM tuning market. etc.

Supra mustn't have been as aerodynamic

i remember reading that the supra only managed to get about 10 kph under what the 300zx got. It made 401 kph...this shows what jun's R&D spend their time on...I'm keen on a job if they are hiring!!! :D

While we're on the subject of high speed salt lake fun, check out Rod Hadfield's project for February 2013.

( The vid in the newspaper article is old but he's back into it this year )

    Rod Hadfield's 300 mph Commodore

A bit off-topic but hey, some of us Vic members are off to meet the man himself and optic some of his toys on
3rd March during the Goldfields Cruise

Hopefully his low-flying commodore will be there too.
Can't wait to hear him tell us how it went:br:

My understanding of land speed racing is they average the spped out over the 3 mile run. So perhaps the Supra had a higher theoretical top speed but coudn't pull it together on the day?

The Supra was for sale recently, can't remember how much but they did send me an email...
