    Hi

Have a bunch of wires now to run from the Engine bay to the interior console and vice versa.

Whats the best way/ place to run them through ideally on both sides.

Is there a secret passage I could use that I dont know about or will I need to put a hole in the firewall, is there a preferred place for a hole n the firewall as well.

Was thinking of going through via the fender wires but it is a bit out of my way to go that way.

    Thoughts ....opinions??

    Cheers

    and .........merry xmas all

The main engine bay loom connects into the interior through the back of the front wheel arches on both sides, and there are access holes behind the strut towers on either side that feed into the rear of the front wheel arches - this is where I would investigate. I have gone through the engine loom plug in the past, but its always a bastard to work with ...

Behind the guards is good as there are a couple of big gromments you can run wires through, otherwise under the brake booster area there are some holes. I like the first choice best as it keeps things nicely hidden

When I picked up my current Z the previous owner put wires through the throttle cable hole that goes through the firewall.

They also wired a sub power wire through the firewall on the passengers side near the exhaust manifold, there was some wire already there going through the firewall that came out to the passengers footwell near the ECU and they simply took out the seal and wired the cable through.

Someone recently put up a great post with pictures showing a route thru the rear of the front guards that came into the cabin on the side of the foot wells,

I revived that thread. The pics were from an old thread from years back. Might have been white knight. I ran 8 core wire so that there was plenty of extras for next time. Run from the hold below the factory boost sensor, then into wheel arch, wrap wires with conduit covers and tape, then feed it thru the rail and the grommet which brings it out near the door sil. Can be routed directly up into the fist box area of the cabin, near accelerator pedal.
