CGS 2012 Formal Cruise Might as well make a thread about this one since no one else has. First and foremost would like to extend a great heart felt thank you from my Dad (DoubleZX) and myself for everyone that attended. Ian, Anthony, Dougie and Jon?. Really shows forum spirit and reminiscent of my own formal two years ago even down to as Anthony noted the 'tanked' girlfriend. Was alittle sketchy on the way in with a Fiat attempting to t-bone myself after failing to give way resulting in efficient use of the handbrake by Ian. Not to mention the usual attempts from people attempting to intervene in the cruise in various corollas and vans etc... Either way I am sure my Brother regardless of sobriety is appreciative of the effort you all contributed. As such here are some of the few photos i managed to snap in the mean time. Enjoy. Fantastic photos!! You obviously have an eye for photography. I will post some pics up probably tonight and will try to source some photos of the awesome arrival. Would have luv to have gotten a pic of the look on the face of the poor security guard that was trying to keep us all in single file, unsuccessfully. Thanks again to everyone that helped out. It was really appreciated. Apparently there were comments from some of the others at the pre-drinks that it was the best formal convey they had ever seen. My partner's daughter, who's formal is next week is now VERY jealous!!! At least JamesZTT who is taking her and her boyfriend will keep the 300 tradition alive!
I have to laugh a little. Would have been a pretty cool sight to look upon front on. Slightly grease momentish when they all rocked up for the race. Some people would have thought some schnitzel was about to go down lol. Cool pics guys.
