Well time has come to make a decision on a front bar. The one I currently have still has alot of work to do to get it perfect shape I'm thinking maybe just buy one which is in good condition. Here's a current photo of the front bar

Give me your opinions, do I continue and make the current one fit. Or get something like a 2k bar.
Here is a photo of my car for those of you who don't know it.

don't know about the fitment mate, but it's painted black and has been on a car before. I was planning on using it, but the front hole is too narrow for a FMIC. $100. The only real problem with it is that the mounting tabs have been broken off, not hard to repair. Also have a pair of Bomex Bonnieville side skirts for a 2 seater, all this came with a parts car I bought and I'ts just taking up space.

Very tempting Would it be too much to ask if you could do a test fit for me, or I come to you and try it out?
    Cheers

Im about 4hrs from you so dont think you could come here haha. As it happens my zed has no front bar on it right now so I can do a test fit when I get it back. I'll let you know how it goes.

Right so after some more test fitments of the current replacement it is NO where near lining up.. It's as bad as those ebay ones.
So I will defs be getting a new one now.

If it's genuine abflug it should be of very good quality and fitment, and very cheap at $100...

I don't think it's genuine, i never saw any branding on it. I will test fit it on wednesday, won't get a chance until then unfortunately.

I think 2K spec bar is still the best bar you can get on these cars. It will also go very nicely with what youy have already done. Being polyurethane is also a major +. The bars are so easy to damage on these cars and the polyurethane bars just keep bouncing back. I'd never go to a fiber glass again.

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

the zToy front bar looks better than 2k spec if you ask me and is much more functional, but it's a massive PITA that it's fiberglass :(

    some pics of the fitiment

Unfortunately it doesnt clear my fmic, and the front opening is too small for it too. This is it just sitting on the studs. Ignore the bird poop.
