about 9 months ago my drivers side window died only way to get it working was to give it a hit and it would work for 15min then die again, then 1 month later my passenger one died, same story. was just wondering if i should be checking something first before i put new motors in them?

mine was working one minute then not ,test motor for window ...as my friend did ,mine seemed to be in the black box at bottom of panel ,resoldered one spot in there and its all good ...

Yeah had a dry solder joint in the little black box.Only realised this after I pulled the motor out and put the Outside magnet housing of the electric motor on back the front and now up is down and down is up. I feel dizzy !
Solved zshadow brought his Zed around to my place to do the job. One of the solder joins was visibly cracked, where one of the right angled pins for the connector mount to the board. Re-soldered all the connector pins plus a few other joins for good measure, good as new. Unfortunately I was too busy to take any pics, sorry
Are yes the worlds problems can be found in that little Black Box. You know what they say when you go black you never go back.
