Hey guys I have a few issues with my zed at the moment very hard to identify my car is misfiring sometimes it runs on 5 cyclinders after i drive the car for a little while and looses power.. thinking it could be fuel injector i recently put a new P.T.U unit and had the throttle boddies cleaned with a new fuel filter i originailly thought it was injector plug its very hard to identify the problem could anyone help!!!:zlove:
Clean ALL engine bay connectors, maybe get a set of new injector ones from Black Baz? Read article in Tech Section on how to do.
Also check to make sure that a vacuum hose near the cylinder that is having problems is not loose or has come off - but as k zed said - check connections first. Changing the coilpacks around will help eliminate coilpack issues. Removing sparkplug at the same time can help sometimes - i.e. wet means spark whereas dry means fuel injector. In addition you can do an injector test as well. Given it happens sometimes means most likely connection/ coilpack is loose somehere, more so than lets say a fuel injector / compression issue that would be most likely constant etc
