I bought a set of UAS Front upper camber Arms off Forum member and booked the car into Local Pedders to fit and re-allign for me.

short version is they couldn't fit them saying that another bolt was required.

I was mistakenly of the impression that they said the UAS fitting required a 12mm and a 13mm bolt to fit into the UAS fitting... but under scrutiny I find that they are saying the following

The Vehicle has a 12mm bolt and a stepped 13mm bolt which I will need to replace with 2 x 12mm bolts in order to use the UAS FUCA.

Why would an Auto TT have two different bolts or is this normal?

Can anyone provide me with a description and exact dimension of what I am seeking as a replacement (according to Pedders Advice) bolt.

    Any advice appreciated

agreed, fitted dozens and always used stock bolts with no drama.

if the bolts didnt want to fit i always brought in a complaint specialist

Thanks very much for the confirmation ....

I'll have to get onto it ASAP to resolve.

    Egg ....

    Are you telling me...

...they couldn't fit these because they didn't have a couple of bolts in a workshop?
Surely they could have sourced them pretty easy.

Perhaps you've found a good Pedders, personally I'd never go to Pedders.

Yeah it seems strange but they said they didn't have enough staff to go and get some (from nearby...)

thats why I have to get the 'size' to buy, while I would have thought it would have been easier to 'match' one when an example can be taken to the Bolt specialist.

PITA. for me one 'hassle' out of the way for them.

Anyone got a couple they can drop in the mail for a fee?PM?

    TY all

If that is the case why not fit them yourself? I am sure other members who are in your surrounding area can help you fit them? Take the bolts to a bolt place and I am sure they will have them in stock. At least then your hip pocket will have extra cash in it due to not paying pedders to fit. All you will need to pay for is to have an alignment done.
